This new three-bedroom/two bath log cabin features a wrap-around porch on the second floor, and a porch on the first floor. The large stone fireplace is beautiful. Enjoy relaxing in the rocking chairs as you listen to the running creek on the property, and gaze at the mountains and snow.
The hot tub on the lower floor (outside) faces the creek, and is a great place to relax and get warm. The cabin backs up to the Nantahala Forest.
The unit has a loft and futon for extra sleeping accommodations. Amenities include satellite TVs, a phone, a fully-equipped kitchen, a washer, dryer, VCR, and a DVD player.
Each room has a themed decor (bears, moose, and wolves), with log furniture. The recreation room features a large-screen TV, a foosball table, and games -- among other things.
Wonderful nearby activities include river rafting -- just minutes away. Other nearby activities include hiking in the forest, mountain biking, fishing, riding the railroad through the mountains, golfing, motorcycle riding, and just plain fun.
The Cherokee Casino is just 30 minutes away; and Maggie Valley is equally close -- for great skiing. You can be at Pigeon Forge or Gatlinberg in in less than two hours.
Here at Bear Paw Lodge you'll be right in the middle of things, yet secluded. The little town of Andrews (ten minutes away) has a fabulous Mexican restaurant. Robbinsville has a grocery store and great restaurants.
This is a wonderful honeymoon cabin; and it's great for family vacations. Everyone who stays here loves it.
